Qatar Airways bude letecký provoz obnovovat postupně, v závislosti na vývoji poptávky cestujících a celosvětovém uvolňování omezení přeshraničního pohybu osob. Letecká společnost do konce červena 2020 zahájí provoz do 80 destinací včetně Malediv.

Státní letecká společnost Kataru uvedla, že bude pečlivě sledovat celosvětový pohyb cestujících a trendy v rezervacích letenek, a podle toho začne plánovat postupné rozšiřování nabídky letů i destinací. Během koronavirové krize Qatar Airways udržela létání do více než třiceti destinací a přepravila více než milion cestujících.

Nyní se plánuje obnovení leteckého spojení do dalších více než 50 destinací, například do Manily, Ammánu a Nairobi. Další destinace podle všeho přibudou koncem června. V letových řádech plánuje mít Qatar Airways do konce června více kolem 80 destinací, z toho 23 v Evropě, 4 na americkém kontinentě, 20 na Blízkém východě a v Africe a 33 v Asii a Tichomoří.
