Dny evropského filmu zvou na oceňované snímky ze tří desítek zemí
Pestrý výběr aktuálních oceňovaných hraných i dokumentárních snímků evropských filmařů nabídne již od čtvrtka 20. dubna v Praze, Brně a Ostravě festival Dny evropského filmu (DEF).
Jubilejní třicátý ročník láká na výrazné debuty i díla slavných režisérů z téměř tří desítek zemí. Přinese například samostatnou sekci věnovanou významnému německému režisérovi Fatihu Akinovi, zaměří se na stále úspěšnější kinematografii zemí Beneluxu, v programu najdeme kolekci hudebních filmů či sekce věnované aktuálním společenským tématům, jako jsou dezinformace nebo ekologie. Většina filmů bude uvedena v české premiéře. Poprvé na plátna kin u nás tak vstoupí italsko-francouzský snímek Nesmírnost s hvězdnou Penélope Cruz v hlavní roli, který festival zahájí. V české premiéře budou dále uvedeny například filmy Chléb a sůl či Ti nejhorší oceněné na festivalech v Benátkách a Cannes anebo Zlato Rýna, výbušná novinka zmiňovaného Fatiha Akina.
Festivalovou atmosféru zpestří setkání s filmovými tvůrci. Své snímky osobně uvedou Ann Oren a Colm Bairéad. Izraelská výtvarnice a režisérka Ann Oren tvořící v Berlíně přiveze drama Piaffa o sexuálním probuzení a síle zvuku. Režisér Colm Bairéad a producentka Cleona Ní Chrualaoí pak představí irský debut Mlčenlivá dívka, který získal oscarovou nominaci. Oba tvůrci povedou v Praze také masterclass. Osobně na festivalu představí svůj film BANGER. i režisér Adam Sedlák. DEF po vybraných projekcích nabízí také debaty s odborníky na dané téma, například s ekonomkou Danuší Nerudovou, historikem Lubošem Švecem, novináři Ondřejem Soukupem, Pavlem Turkem a Vítem Schmarcem, filozofkou Annou Hogenovou nebo dokumentaristou a spisovatelem Stevem Lichtagem. V programu nechybí ani projekce a workshopy pro děti či seniory.
Od 20. do 25. dubna se festival koná v Praze v kinech Lucerna, Světozor a Přítomnost, brněnské Scale a Artu a ostravských kinech Etáž a Minikino. „Letos zveme diváky i pod obří kopule Hvězdárny v Brně a ostravského Planetária, kam jsme v programu zařadili specifické filmy ve formátu ‘full dome’,“ vysvětluje ředitelka festivalu Barbora Golatová. Od 26. do 30. dubna v rámci festivalových Ozvěn zavítá festival do desítky kin v dalších městech celé České republiky. Všechny cizojazyčné filmy jsou uváděny s českými a ve většině případů i s anglickými titulky.
