Sólista Metropolitní opery Adam Plachetka spolu se světově proslulým kontratenoristou Andreasem Schollem připomenou třísté výročí pražské korunovace.

Na slavnostním koncertě, který vzniká za podpory Českého královského institutu a bude se konat ve Španělském sále Pražského hradu 8. února, vystoupí také oceňovaná operní pěvkyně Dagmar Šašková a další špičky světové operní scény. V obnovené české premiéře představí gratulační operu císařského dvorního vicekapelníka Antonia Caldary Harmonie planet.

„Jde o nesmírně náročnou skladbu, která byla v historii opomíjená mimo jiné kvůli vysokým nárokům na pěvce. My jsme po téměř dvouletém castingu docílili úžasného mezinárodního obsazení. Dílo je pro dnešní dobu náročné k uvedení kvůli třem kontratenorovým rolím čili mužským partům o rozsahu altu až sopránu,“ upozorňuje hlavní realizátor akce Jiří Ludvík. Vstupenky na koncert jsou k dispozici na webu vyrocikorunovace.cz.

Oslavná serenáda Harmonie planet, v originále La concordia de’ pianeti, zazněla poprvé v roce 1723 v době korunovace císaře Karla VI. na českého krále. Dílo bylo složeno pro jeho manželku císařovnu Alžbětu Kristýnu a premiéra se uskutečnila téhož roku ve Znojmě, při zpáteční cestě královského dvora do Vídně. „Její autor Antonio Caldara byl považován za génia své doby. V tomto případě zpracoval oblíbený barokní námět vycházející z filozofie harmonie sfér jako divadelní skladbu pro hudbu, jak žánr sám označil. V díle vzdává panovnici hold sedm božstev jako symbol sedmi planet – Diana, Apollon, Venuše, Jupiter, Mars, Merkur a Saturn,“ přibližuje Ludvík.

Skladba zazní v obnovené premiéře v podání barokního orchestru Czech Ensemble Baroque pod taktovkou Romana Válka. Soubor je špičkou ve stylové interpretaci na dobové nástroje. Umělecký i produkční tým získal několik Cen Thálie. V minulosti ve světové premiéře uvedl ve scénické inscenaci dílo G. F. Händela Saul (2019) nebo Návrat Tobiáše J. Haydna (2022). V koncertním zpracování oslavné opery Harmonie planet účinkují také Krystian Adam, Hana Blažíková, Valer Sabadus a Carlos Mena.
