Noční mezinárodní vlakový spoj jezdící na trase Praha – Drážďany – Berlín – Amsterdam – Brusel a zpět plánují společně spustit RegioJet a nová holandská společnost European Sleeper podnikající v oblasti noční vlakové dopravy.
Aktuálně probíhá zveřejnění záměru o spuštění nové mezinárodní linky směrem k regulátorům železniční dopravy v jednotlivých zemích a podávání žádostí o kapacity vlakových tras.
Ideální pro služební i turistické cesty
Nové spojení zahájí provoz v průběhu roku 2022. Bude se jednat o noční spoj vyjíždějící v podvečerních hodinách z Prahy přes Drážďany a Berlín do Amsterdamu a Bruselu, kde bude mít dopolední příjezd – ideální pro jednání například u evropských institucí. V opačném směru bude vlak odjíždět z Bruselu v podvečer přes Amsterdam do Berlína, Drážďan a Prahy, kam dorazí v ranních, respektive dopoledních hodinách na druhý den.
RegioJet a European Sleeper budou na provozu vlaků spolupracovat s dalšími dopravci, kteří v jednotlivých zemích zajistí provoz a také prodej jízdenek. Vlakové spoje by měly nabídnout místa jak na sedačkách, tak ve spacích kupé a plný servis RegioJet včetně přístupu k internetu zdarma, kávy a dalších nápojů zdarma. Stejně jako u dalších spojů se počítá s politikou nejlepších cen za nejlepší služby.
RegioJet a European Sleeper podporují Rok železnice a další iniciativy EU
Novým nočním spojem se RegioJet a European Sleeper hlásí k celoevropské iniciativě rozvoje ekologicky výhodné noční vlakové dopravy. Zároveň příprava tohoto nočního vlakového spoje probíhá v době Roku železnice, který právě na letošní rok vyhlásila Evropská unie. Amsterdam, Brusel, Praha, Berlín či Drážďany jsou destinace, které jsou ideální pro využití noční vlakové dopravy jak pro turistické, tak služební účely.
RegioJet – nejrychleji rostoucí evropský dopravce
Plán otevřít uvedené nové spojení je také součástí rychlé expanze dopravce RegioJet v segmentu nočních a dálkových spojů. Vedle nočních vlaků na trase Praha – Košice a zpět, či Praha – Rijeka / Split otevře RegioJet v letošním roce noční spoj také na trase Praha – Przemyśl – Lvov. RegioJet také plánuje v letošním roce investovat kolem dvou miliard Kč do pořízení nových vozidel.
Aktuálně RegioJet také zvítězil v poptávkovém řízení ministerstva dopravy na provozování rychlíků na lince R23 Kolín – Lysá nad Labem – Ústí nad Labem a zahájí zde provoz dálkových vlaků od letošního prosince.
Vedle spojení Praha – Amsterdam – Brusel plánují RegioJet a European Sleeper rozvoj nočních vlakových spojů také na dalších trasách ve střední Evropě.
