Město společně s Prague City Tourism spouštějí pilotní projekt vratných kelímků na vybraných pražských akcích

Hlavní město Praha ve spolupráci se společností Prague City Tourism spouští pilotní projekt vratných kelímků pro akce konané na pražských náplavkách a na Výstavišti. Cílem je podpořit využívání udržitelné varianty nádobí místo jednorázových spotřebních plastů. Město na projekt vyhradilo 2,4 milionu korun. Po skončení testovací fáze přejde systém do plně komerční roviny bez městské podpory.

Hlavní město Praha iniciovalo projekt vratných kelímků s cílem posílit městskou ekologii. Společnost Prague City Tourism byla městem pověřena, aby realizovala zkušební fázi projektu a kelímky na akce distribuovala. Ta poběží od září 2022 do února 2024.

“Jsem rád, že se nám projekt recyklovatelných kelímků na pražských náplavkách konečně podařilo rozjet. Chceme tím dát jasný signál pořadatelům, protože zejména při větších akcích se zde nahromadily odpadky z nevratného materiálu. Zároveň je to důležitý krok v rámci udržitelnosti i recyklovatelnosti a opětovného použití jednotlivých kelímků i dalších věcí tak, jak si myslíme, že má být tím správným trendem s ohledem na šetrnost k přírodě,” říká Jan Chabr, radní pro oblast správy majetku a majetkových podílů.

„V tuto chvíli jsme navázali spolupráci s pražskými náplavkami a pražským Výstavištěm. Žijeme v době, kdy musíme myslet udržitelně, a proto zahajujeme pilotní provoz a poskytujeme na vybrané pražské akce udržitelnou a k přírodě šetrnou variantu vratných kelímků,” doplňuje předseda představenstva Prague City Tourism František Cipro. „Poprvé by se měly kelímky objevit na farmářských trzích na náplavce v sobotu 3. září 2022, “ dodává.

Během projektu, který potrvá 19 měsíců, bude k dispozici 50 tisíc zálohovaných kelímků. V této zkušební době mají pořadatelé akcí možnost využívat kelímky zcela bezplatně. Po skončení startovací fáze na začátku roku 2024 projekt město vyhodnotí a rozhodne o dalších krocích. Vizuální stránka kelímků s názvem “Pro udržitelnou Prahu” poukazuje na ekologický záměr města. Barevné parametry a symboly na kelímcích se budou navíc pravidelně obměňovat.

“Návrat systému vratných kelímků na pražské náplavky velice vítáme zejména z důvodu výrazného snížení ekologické stopy návštěvníků, o které samozřejmě dlouhodobě usilujeme i v dalších oblastech,” doplňuje Petr Hozman, kurátor pražských náplavek, a plány do budoucna uzavírá správce náplavek Dušan Sahula: “Po letošním startu na farmářských trzích bychom v příští sezoně rádi zavedli vratné kelímky i na palubách lodí a poté případně v dalších provozovnách na pražských náplavkách.”
