Dominikánská republika: ministr cestovního ruchu zveřejňuje postup k obnově turismu

Od 15. září 2020 bude všem návštěvníkům Dominikánské republiky nabízeno dočasné cestovní pojištění a při příjezdu se nadále nebude vyžadovat negativní PCR test.

David Collado, ministr cestovního ruchu Dominikánské republiky, se toto pondělí sešel se správní radou a bývalými prezidenty Národní asociace hotelů a turismu Dominikánské republiky (ASONAHORES), aby projednali detaily a pokrok v rámci Plánu na zodpovědnou obnovu turismu v odpovědi na COVID-19. Tento plán byl představen minulý týden prezidentem Luisem Abinaderem. Cílem plánu na obnovu turismu je minimalizovat efekty pandemie a usnadnit oživení cestovního ruchu s důrazem na zdraví, maximalizovat potenciál pro vytvoření nových pracovních pozic a pro ekonomický růst a podpořit udržitelný rozvoj sektoru.

Během schůze ministr Collado informoval o jednotlivých sekcích plánu – řízení, risk management, komunikace a finanční podpora pro soukromý sektor – a potvrdil, že vše pokračuje podle plánu tak, aby každá z iniciativ mohla být implementována k 15. září 2020. „Pracujeme na tom, abychom identifikovali a správně uchopili každý jednotlivý element, který je v rámci současné situace potřeba adresovat,“ řekl Collado. „Stejně tak se věnujeme posilování nabídky našeho turistického sektoru, abychom přivedli naši zemi k úspěchu v krátkém i dlouhém období.“

Financování plánu včetně jeho propagace počítá s investicí 28 milionů dolarů. Vláda dále investuje dalších 7,1 milionu do dalších programů týkajících se zejména dohod s aerolinkami a zajištění leteckých tras. Plán na zodpovědnou obnovu turismu také zahrnuje uvolnění fiskálních politiky, monetární nástroje, program zajišťující půjčky, úvěry pro malé a střední podniky a vytvoření programu dočasného zdravotního pojištění plně hrazeného dominikánskou vládou, jež se bude nabízet turistům kvůli současné potenciální hrozbě nákazou COVID-19.

Mezi opatření plánu, která budou implementována k 15. září patří:

  • Cestující nebudou vyzýváni k doložení negativního testu při vstupu do země. Rychlé ambulantní testy se budou provádět pouze na náhodně vybraných návštěvnících.
  • Dočasné cestovní zdravotní pojištění bude nabízeno všem turistům přijíždějícím do dominikánských hotelů do prosince 2020. Toto pojištění, kromě úhrady mimořádných událostí, zahrnuje také testy na COVID-19 a pokrytí výloh v případě potřeby prodloužení pobytu z důvodu nákazy.
  • Ministerstvo cestovního ruchu zahájilo proces certifikace nového protokolu s Buro Veritas, evropskou společností specializující se na kvalitu cestovního ruchu.
  • Minulý pátek proběhla schůzka s Meziamerickou rozvojovou bankou ohledně sjednání nákupu úvěrových derivátů (credit-risk transfer) s cílem expandovat portfolio sektoru.

Ministr garantoval, že bude pracovat ruku v ruce se soukromým sektorem, aby společně vyvedli turistický sektor ze současné krize a vykročili vstříc nové ekonomické fázi v roce 2021.
