Lufthansa do konce srpna ruší dalších 2000 letů z Frankfurtu a Mnichova

Německé aerolinky Lufthansa zruší do konce srpna dalších 2000 letů z Frankfurtu a Mnichova. Firma to odůvodnila nedostatkem zaměstnanců, stávkami, počasím a pandemickou situací.

Mluvčí Lufthansy podle agentury DPA řekl, že půjde zejména o vnitrostátní lety nebo krátké trasy do blízkých destinací v zahraničí, pro něž existují alternativy. Lety do prázdninových destinací se budou podle něj rušit jen ve výjimečných případech.

Jde už o třetí vlnu rušení letů, k němuž Lufthansa letos v létě přistoupila. Firma nejprve zrušila 3100 letů na červenec a srpen a poté dalších 770 spojů na týden od 8. do 14. července. Nyní přibylo dalších 2000 letů na období šesti týdnů. V případě první vlny představovalo 3100 zrušených letů zhruba čtyři procenta kapacity Lufthansy v daném období.

Poslední série zrušených letů se bude týkat hlavně odpolední a večerní špičky, řekl mluvčí společnosti. V těchto obdobích jsou pozemní služby v dopravních uzlech přetíženy, letadla nabírají zpoždění a zavazadla zůstávají na letišti. Ve Frankfurtu se hlavní nápor očekává o víkendu od 22. do 24. července, kdy začínají školní prázdniny v německých spolkových zemích Hesensko a Porýní-Falc. “Lufthansa zavedla četná opatření a přijímá další zaměstnance všude, kde je to možné, aby zajistila co největší stabilitu letového řádu,” sdělil dopravce agentuře Reuters.
